Dwarf names & their meanings (Norse mythology)

So I was looking through my dictionary of Norse mythology and legend, and came upon a list of the names of dwarves in Norse mythology and the meanings thereof. I recognised quite a few that might correspond to Tolkien’s dwarves, and thought I’d share some of them here!

Note: “Þ” in Old Norse is transliterated as th, and takes the [θ] sound (as the th in Thorin) when it’s at the beginning of a word. So Þorinn, Þráinn, and Þrór are Thorinn, Thráinn, and Thrór respectively. :)

I love the fact me and mom are on about making things for xmas and I asked if I could make rex and ahsoka for the tree, maybe some TMNT stuff as well my dad just went may as well make loads of characters you like and have them as one of those hangy things on a string, then mom got excited and went make yoda, darth vader, boba, ect i have a lot of characters to make wearing xmas hats lolololol so gonna look derpy but its gonna be awesome <33333

Meanwhile Kerry is trying to figure out the location of the Turtles penises and how they can actually use them due to the animation style. So far I’m being successful.

Alright, then, TMNT fandom. I do believe this is a subject that has been neglected to be clarified, but I, mun of Donatello, shall tell you all about the genitalia of our favorite shelled ninjas.

Basically, this post is mostly about the anatomy of regular turtles. I don’t get into how it relates to/is the basis of the ninja turtles anatomy until the end.

This is all just personal opinion, by the way.
